Get rid of the clutter:
Start with removing extra furniture, personal photos, vibrant artwork and clearing off all surfaces… doing an edit of your belongings will help keep your space looking organized. If this process seems overwhelming a stager can handle this and give you an exact list of what should stay and what should go. We always recommend staging your home before offering it for sale. A staging consultation that includes this is complementary to all of our clients!
Tidy up closets and kitchen cupboards:
Keep the floors clear and kitchen organized… potential buyers will always open the doors
It is incredible what a fresh coat of paint can do for a room. Paint all rooms in a neutral colour this helps to make the space feel “fresh” and larger. It also helps to make outdated finishes not look as outdated. Bold paint colours on walls have a certain way of reducing offers, so try and avoid those bright colours when preparing to sell
